Web Content Management

Since the late 90's, many web bureaus and marketing agencies have been implementing websites for their clients either using their own web Cms, an open source web Cms or an "off-the-shelf" commericial web Cms. I was hired by Synkron in 1999 to help maintain the first ever danish "off-the-shelf" web Cms, Synkron.web 2.1. A year later we started developing Synkron.web 3, a second generation web Cms. Back then everybody wanted to have a website, but nobody knew how. Buying a web Cms helped people focus on creating content, then the system would "create" the website.
